TALK TO SOMEONE NOW

The fastest way to reach us is also the simplest: call the helpline.

CALL 24/7 · (713) 574-9133

We keep contact simple on purpose. There is no form to fill out and no email queue to wait in. The helpline is the front door to everything we do, and it is staffed 24 hours a day, every day, whether you are calling at noon or three in the morning, on a weekday or a holiday.

What to Expect on the Call

You will speak with a trained admissions specialist, not a machine. The call is free and confidential, and you are never required to share your name or any identifying details just to get information. Most calls take 15 to 30 minutes and cover your situation, the levels of care that might fit, and, if you want, next steps such as insurance verification.

If you would rather not commit to a full conversation right away, that is fine too. You can call, ask a specific question, and hang up with just that answer. There is no minimum length to a call, and no expectation that reaching out means you have decided to enter treatment.

Calling for Someone Else

A large share of our calls come from family members and friends, not the person struggling with alcohol use. That is completely fine. We can talk through what you are seeing, what your options are, and how to approach the conversation with your loved one, including what a first step like medical detox or an intervention conversation typically looks like. It is common to call more than once during this process, first to gather information and later, once your loved one is ready, to talk through logistics together.

No Office, By Design

We are an independent information resource and helpline, not a treatment facility, so we do not maintain a public office or address. The licensed facilities in our Houston-area directory each have their own locations, which our specialists can share once you decide where you would like to go.

Why We Do Not Use a Contact Form

A form creates a delay: someone submits it, waits for a reply, and often has to explain their situation again once a callback finally comes. A phone call skips that entirely. You reach a real person on the first attempt, at whatever hour you happen to be ready to talk, and the conversation can move as quickly or as slowly as you need it to.

If You Are Not Sure What to Say

You do not need an opening line. Many calls start with something as simple as "I think I need help" or "I am calling about my husband's drinking." A specialist will take it from there, asking questions rather than expecting you to explain everything up front. There is no wrong way to start this conversation.

Not Ready to Call Yet?

If you would rather read first, start with our admissions process guide, our full resources page, or our levels of care overview. The helpline will be here when you are ready, whether that is today or a few weeks from now.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the fastest way to reach you?

Call the helpline. It is answered around the clock, so there is no need to wait for a callback or an email response.

Is calling free?

Yes. The helpline is free and confidential, with no obligation to enroll in treatment.

Do you have a physical office I can visit?

We are an online information resource and helpline, not a treatment facility, so we do not have a public office. Licensed treatment facilities listed on our site have their own locations.

Can I call more than once?

Yes. Some people call several times over days or weeks before deciding what to do next. Each call is treated the same, with no pressure to have made a decision since the last one.

What if I only have a few minutes right now?

That is fine. Even a short call can point you toward the right next step, and a specialist can pick the conversation back up whenever you call again.
